INSTALLATION
OUR ON-THE-SPOT CHECK
Every wall is different. In order to define the best type of intervention
necessary for solving the problem, ELO makes an on-the-spot check,
during which experts can determine the wall's natural electric field characteristics and any presence of salts.
Only after this on-the-spot
check and the analyses of the data gathered during it will ELO be able
to offer the specific solution suitable for that particular case.

INSTALLATION OF THE ELO SYSTEM
After evaluating the specific case
carefully, our experts establish the
position of the two tracks inside
which the positive electrode (track to
be made above the highest level of
moisture) and the negative electrode
(track to be performed at the base of
the wall) must be located.
|
|
The ELO System electrodes are then
laid inside these tracks.
|
 |
|
Subsequently, the tracks are closed
with cement mortar to which special
additives are added to ensure
maximum conductivity.
|
|
The electrodes are then connected
to the ELO Unit, which imposes an
electric field having a potential higher
than and opposite to the natural one.
The ELO Unit is programmable and is
fitted with a graphic display that shows
the following information: applied
potential, current delivered to the
system and days of operation. In case
of anomalies, the display signals the
type of anomaly together with its date
and time. Furthermore, the control
unit reads and records the delivered
current, which represents the index of
average moisture in walls, on a daily
basis.

FINAL SYSTEM TEST
Our technicians perform the final test upon completion of the system
installation. Several electrical measurements are taken for this purpose
in various zones of the system (at least one point on each wall) and in
any points that the customer's site engineer may request.
